About us
We’re Moving to Cheltenham is a new inward investment and business growth initiative for the town. It is managed by Marketing Cheltenham on behalf of Cheltenham Borough Council and forms part of the town’s Economic Recovery.
Despite the challenging economic environment, Cheltenham’s economy continues to innovate and diversify thanks to its range of employment and educational opportunities, as well as its strong leisure and cultural profile. Many Cheltenham-based businesses and institutions are already recognised as leaders and innovators in their fields, whilst a growing number of international cyber-tech companies are also now building a presence in the town.
The We’re Moving to Cheltenham initiative seeks to build on this, boosting economic confidence in the town, encouraging business growth and investment, attracting and retaining talent and improving perceptions of Cheltenham as a great place to work and do business.
It also complements and supports the work of the new Cheltenham Economic Recovery Task Force (CERTF) which seeks to drive the town’s economic recovery and growth, taking swift, bold and brave interventions to support the short term challenges, yet with a vision and ambition to secure the future vitality of the town.
